Yesenia’s Selfie

Yesenia lives in El Paso, Texas, not far from the U.S./Mexico border. In her short digital story, she describes when her father was deported, and how much it affected her emotionally. Yesenia is not alone: The Huffington Post reports that over 72,000 parents of U.S.-born children were deported in 2013.
